As expected, the Qualifying Practice of the KZ World Championship was very tight. Everything was decided in the last moments of each session after breathtaking suspense.

Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) and Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) got into action quickly, but Stan Pex (KR / TM) was in the lead just seconds from the end. Yet Kremers responded at the very last moment to finish on 46”244, Longhi was 2nd again tied with Pex and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) took the 4th position 0.113” further back against Francesco Celenta (Praga / Iame).

In the second session, Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) quickly ensured a significant time that placed him 5th overall. Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart / Vortex) mafe his ambitions clear and Alessandro Irlando (Birel ART / TM) took 2nd position overall. Renaudin improved and took the lead of the session and of the category with 46”104. Irlando finished 2nd by 47 thousandths, then Puhakka was 3rd ahead of Mirko Torsellini (KR / Iame) and Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex).
