The final hour arrived at Le Mans for the DD2 Masters of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy after another aerobatic demonstration. Romain Mangé (FRA – Tony Kart) headed the grid while Slawomir Muranski (POL – Tony Kart) and Scott Howard (AUS – Sodi) faced each other for 2nd place. Rudy Champion (FRA – Sodi) was 4th ahead of Carl Cleirbaut (BEL – Tony Kart) and Tamsin Germain (GBR – Kosmic). At the front, Muranski followed Mangé like his shadow, waiting for his moment, but question remained open as to whether he could do better. Meanwhile, Champion had passed Howard for 3rd position and was pushing to join the leaders. He completed his mission, but could not seriously threaten Mangé, the undisputed winner, any more than he could Muranski, in 2nd. Roberto Pesevski (AUT – Sodi) took 4th place a few lengths ahead of Howard.
