KZ Wackersdorf: Abasse unbeatable in the rain

The first heat of the KZ European Championship saw rain tyres on a wet track, even though the rain had stopped. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) took the lead on the first lap and flew to a superb victory.  Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) moved back up and attacked Jorrit Pex (KR / TM) on the last lap to finish 2nd, while Alex Irlando (Birel ART / TM) finished 4th. Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) regained six places in 5th place, poleman Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex) narrowly resisted the impressive return of Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) in 7th place (+7 pl) ahead of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex). Fabian Federer (Maranello / TM) gave up after going off, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Iame) dropped to 20th and Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) was 16th after a penalty.
